25th Anniversary Charity Visit

The IIT 25th Anniversary Charity Visit held on the 3rd of February 2025, was an opportunity for the students to use their skills to help the care centres. We visited Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care at Yaba-Lagos, Down Syndrome Foundation at Iju-Lagos, Heart of God Children’s Hospital at Surulere-Lagos, Pacelli School of the Blind at Surulere-Lagos, and Little Saints Orphanage Home at Abule Egba-Lagos.

The experience was life changing for the students and staff of IIT that took part in this visit. Those who went to Modupe Cole, Little Saints Orphanage, and Down Syndrome foundation helped out in electrical and mechanical repairs and installations. They fixed and installed fans (ceiling and standing), desktop computers, wall switches and sockets, light bulbs, reconfiguring of faulty distribution boards, and other technical needs.
