Admission Requirements (G/W)

For Mechatronics Programme

Candidates must:

  1. Be Male/Female.
  2. Must be within the range of target participants.
  3. Submit a copy of all academic credentials i.e. O/A-Level results, tertiary graduation certificate, etc. Also submit a copy of Curriculum vitae (C.V) and a passport photograph.
  4. Candidates must have good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics.
  5. Take a personality test.
  6. Pass IIT entrance examination and Interview. The entrance examination covers areas in Mathematics, English, Aptitude, Technical Abilities, and Physics.
  7. Must be medically fit to undergo training.

Target Participants

  • Practicing technicians and engineers (with work experience)
  • Graduates of tertiary institutions of science and engineering background (ND, HND, NYSC, BSc, MSc, PhD, etc.)
  • Tertiary students about completing their education (SIWES)
  • Candidates from non-science backgrounds (HR, Technical sales, technical operators, procurement, BSc in non-technical/engineering fields etc.): Those who desire to join the programme can undergo personal study of physics and mathematics. They are to demonstrate a good understanding of these subjects at the entrance assessment and interview.
  • Candidates with special cases may be considered.

    • Kindly note that candidates below 23 years of age may be referred to the school leavers programme.
