Young School Leavers
A skill can change a life. An opportunity can secure a future.
For many young Nigerians, the greatest barrier to a productive livelihood is not a lack of ability or ambition, but lack of access to quality technical education.
At the Institute for Industrial Technology (IIT), we give young people practical technical education, hands-on training and industry exposure that prepare them for employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
Structured programmes that build real competence, not just certificates.
Workshops and equipment that mirror the industrial floor from day one.
Placements and partners that lead to employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
Training a School Leaver at IIT costs ₦1,500,000 per year. Every contribution brings a young person closer to acquiring a skill and building a secure livelihood.
Cost of training one School Leaver
approximately US$1,130
per year. Any amount counts towards a young person’s training.
Additional donations can help feed students and provide financial assistance to students who might otherwise be forced to drop out because of financial difficulties.
Meals during training keep students focused on learning rather than on getting through the day.
Financial assistance for those who might otherwise be forced to drop out because of financial difficulties.
Your generosity can help a young person stay in school, gain a skill and become economically independent.
Give them access to education.
Give them a skill.
Give them a chance to build a livelihood.
Give them a future.
