Sponsor a Student / Programme

Many young Nigerians from low-income families aspire to gain technical and vocational education but cannot afford it. Through the Sponsor a Student / Programme initiative, you can give them the opportunity to learn valuable skills, build character, and secure dignified employment. Your sponsorship helps cover tuition, training materials, and essential tools needed for hands-on learning.

You may choose to sponsor an individual student or support a full programme such as Mechatronics, Electrotechnics, or Industrial Automation. Each sponsorship directly empowers a young person to lift themselves and their families out of poverty—while strengthening the nation’s technical workforce and future.

How Sponsorship Works

Becoming a sponsor with IIT is simple and transparent. Each sponsorship directly supports a student or programme and is managed through the Institute’s scholarship and development fund to ensure accountability and real impact.

You can choose to:

Sponsor a Student: Cover the full or partial cost of tuition, training materials, and practical tools for one student.
Sponsor a Programme: Support a specific area such as Mechatronics, Electrotechnics, or Industrial Automation—helping to improve teaching resources and equipment.
Make a General Donation: Contribute to IIT’s scholarship pool or development fund to reach more students across different programmes.

Sponsors receive periodic updates on student progress and programme outcomes, ensuring that every contribution remains personal and impactful.
