IIT offers technical and vocational programs in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Modular Training, Short Courses, In-Tech Workshops, and online degree pathways (BSc/MSc with IU Germany).
It’s a 28-month course for school leavers, focused on power generation, distribution, machines, automation, and renewable energy. Training is 70% practical, 30% theory, with a 10-month internship.
Mainly secondary school leavers with interest in technical fields. Enrolment is open year-round.
It runs for 28 months: 18 months in school (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) + 10 months internship. Covers mechanics, electricity, welding, hydraulics, PLCs, and ethics.
They can work as Industrial Maintenance Technicians, Mechatronics/Robotics Technicians, or in manufacturing, oil & gas, food/beverage, and automation industries.

- Full-time: 6+ months, weekdays 9am–5pm
- Part-time: 12+ months, Saturdays + 4 intensive weeks/quarter
Both cover pneumatics, PLCs, electronics, and process control.
A flexible, self-paced program for students, graduates, and workers to learn troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and fabrication. Entry requires a pre-training assessment.
3–5-day training seminars for employed workers to upgrade skills in industrial automation, electrical, and mechanical systems.
A free, 2-week hands-on course for ages 14–22, introducing fabrication, IoT, electronics, and automation with teamwork and ethics training. Certificate awarded.

Yes. Electrotechnics and Electromechanics include mandatory 10-month internships with partner companies (stipends encouraged). Mechatronics offers optional internships. Graduates benefit from IIT Alumni job placement support.
