Conduct and Safety Policies
At the Institute for Industrial Technology (IIT) Lagos, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, safety, inclusion, and responsibility in everything we do. As a leading technical vocational education and training (TVET) institution with over 25 years of experience, IIT empowers school leavers (aged 16–23), tertiary graduates, and working professionals through practical, industry-driven programmes in electromechanics, mechatronics, plant maintenance, renewable energy, and related technologies.
These policies reflect our core values and support our mission of transforming lives while preparing competent, ethical, and responsible technicians for Nigeria’s industrial sector. They apply to all students, trainees, staff, contractors, partners, and visitors. We regularly review and communicate these policies to foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
The policy summary below includes the following:

Benefits
- This approach enriches technical training, strengthens teamwork in multicultural industrial settings, and prepares graduates to contribute responsibly to Nigeria’s diverse workforce.
