Admission Deferral

Candidates who have received admission into IIT but can’t start due to certain reasons can defer their admission.

The new tuition rate will be applied to them when they intend to start.
Full scholarships given will be terminated. Partial scholarships “may” be reserved.
There is no need to pay any fee to defer your admission. Just inform the admission office via email.
The deferral is only effective for the year in question. All deferral seizes to apply in the next year. Although certain allowance can be made for individuals with strong cases.
